Project Description

Neuromuscular taping is a rehabilitative technique that can be used alone or in conjunction with other treatments and modalities to provide various therapeutic benefits. This course will review the history of Neuromuscular taping, current research related to its therapeutic effects, and discuss the contraindications vs. the pathophysiology of conditions that can be treated with this method. Participants will understand the physiological effects of Neuromuscular taping and the different qualities that distinguish Neuromuscular taping brands from one another. The lab portion of the course will allow participants to gain extensive hands-on practice to optimize proper application and understand the role of each and every treatment protocol. Participants will demonstrate mastery of over 30 treatment protocols for various conditions at every distinct location on the body.
