Who can attend KOHed modules?
Unless otherwise specified, modules are limited to licensed or students of PT, PTA, OT, OTA, MD, DO, DC, AT, LMT, and CMT.
How do I register for a module?
You can register online www.KOHed.com, by phone 949-540-5641, by fax 949-540-5642 download our KOHed Registration Form, or by mail at 9080 Irvine Center Dr. Irvine, CA 92618.
Is payment required at the time of registration?
Yes, if you are registering online and over phone and to reserve your seat.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, confirmations of paid registration are sent via email within 24 hours of receipt in our office. If a faxed confirmation cannot be sent, email confirmation will be sent. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours, please call our office at (949) 540-5641 to verify registration.
How soon should I register for a module? How late can I register?
Early registration is highly recommended. Space is limited and registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. However, you can register up to and including the day of the module at the regular registration rate. However space is limited, therefore cannot guarantee a spot.
Who is eligible for the student discount?
Students enrolled who are pursuing their degree in a healthcare field that can become licensed to treat soft-tissue conditions and injuries can receive the student discount.
This discount will be extended to modules that occur within 3 months of their graduation date.
Can KOHed module manuals be purchased separately from a module?
Manuals are included with your module. KOHed manuals cannot be purchased separately from a module, unless you wish to purchase an upgrade to your study materials.
What will I receive at the module?
You will receive a module manual and certificate of completion that accompanies the information presented, and any other tool(s) listed for each module. These may be purchased separately at an additional cost, please contact us for more information.
Will I receive my continuing education/certificate of completion the day of the module?
All paid registrations received approximately 10 days before the module will receive a continuing education certificate of completion at the end of each module. If you chose to register after the 10 day time frame, please be aware that you will not have a continuing education certificate of completion available to you the day of the module, you will only receive an email copy. If you would like for us to mail you a hard copay, there is a $15 printing and mailing fee.

How important is my knowledge of anatomy when taking a KOHed module?
We encourage all of our providers to have an excellent working knowledge of anatomy when they decide to take a KOHed module. Some modules may not require knowledge of anatomy.
What should I wear?
Recommend attire is T-shirt with shorts and sneakers. Unless your company requires otherwise, this is up to your discretion. We recommend you consider bringing a light sweater/jacket as we cannot control the temperature of the room to accommodate everyone in attendance.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is on your own lunch unless noted otherwise. We make every attempt to select facilities that have a restaurant within the property or several nearby for your convenience.
Do I have to pay for parking?
It may vary depending on location. Parking is free at KOH PT Lab location, Irvine, CA.
Do I have to stay at the hotel where the module is being held?
What does “Re-FRESHER” mean and what is included?
The term “Re-FRESHER” pertains to anyone who has already taken a particular module and would like to retake the module for review. Re-Fresher module included the contact hours and certificate of completion.
I need special accommodations (ADA). What should I contact?
Accommodations will be made in accordance with the law. If you require ADA accommodations, please contact KOHed at least three weeks before the module date or prior to purchasing any online or distance learning products so that arrangements can be made.
Can I take pictures at KOHed Seminars?
All attendees are required to fill out a KOHed Media Release Form.
Can I record at KOHed Seminars?
All recordings are prohibited, unless approved by the instructor on site.
What if I can’t take a module that I signed up for? Can I transfer to another module?
If you would like to transfer your module fees to a different module or same module on a later date, you are able to do so without penalty 30 days before the module start date. If you would like to transfer to a different module less than 30 days before the module start date, a $50 transfer fee will apply. You have 6 months from the purchase date to use your credit. Registrants who do not notify us of transfer or of their absence within the allotted 7 days will forfeit all funds.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation made less than 30 days prior to module date will be refunded minus $150 cancellation fee. Registrants canceling greater than 30 calendar days of the module may receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee.
No refunds 3 weeks prior to module date.
If you have a module credit on file and the price of that module has increased since you purchased it, you will be responsible for the difference in price in order to attend the course. If you cancel a course and keep it on hold when you are a student and want to use it after your student discount has expired (6 months after graduation), you will also be responsible for paying the difference in price in order to attend the course.
What if KOHed cancels a module?
KOH Education reserves the right to cancel a module at any time. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, KOHed will issue a full refund of the registration fee, but will not be responsible for any other charges incurred by the registrant due to the cancellation of the module. We reserves the right to alter dates, times, locations, content, and faculty to accommodate unexpected needs. We cannot be responsible for expenses incurred by registrants if the module is cancelled or altered.
How will I know if the module is cancelled?
Unfortunately, cancellations may occur at the last minute due to travel delays, weather, or instructor sickness. We make every effort to contact all of the pre-registered attendees with a confirmation number and contact information prior to the module. If we have no contact information for you, we cannot inform you – this is why we request your phone and fax numbers, as well as email address.
Who can take IASTM modules?
Healthcare providers that are licensed to work on soft-tissue conditions and injuries, or those pursuing their first degree as a healthcare professional that can become licensed to treat soft-tissue conditions and injuries can take the modules. This includes PT, PTA, OT, OTA, MD, DO, DC, AT, LMT, and CMT.

What are the prerequisites for Certified IASTM Practitioner Module?
Practitioners must take Level 1 Full Body module and or completed Graston Technique, FAKTR, ASTYM, or Hawk Grips training that included a lab, we will consider those adequate for you to register for IASTM Certified Practitioner module.
Requirements to becoming an IASTM Certified Practitioner?
• Must have achieved or is a student in your last year working towards one or more of the following credentials: PT, PTA, OT, OTA, MD, RN, DO, DC, AT, LMT, and CMT.
• Pass written exam with 80% or higher.
• Pass practical lab exam.
When can I retake the IASTM Certified Practitioner written exam?
The day of one of our IASTM Level I or Level II CP module date at a location nearest you.
Can you email the exam?
We do not email the exam.
What is your re-certification process?
KOHed requires our providers to take module once every 24 months to maintain their status as a KOHed IASTM Certified Practitioner. We ask this of our providers so that we know they are staying current on their practice with our modules and at the top of their game. When we refer a patient to a Certified KOHed Practitioner we can feel comfortable knowing that they have received the proper training. One module must be taken every 24 months. This module will maintain your certification in all previous modules.
How do I list as an Online Practitioner?
The Online Practitioner Listing is a voluntary listing and the fee is included with IASTM Certified Practitioner module. Please contact KOH Education to set up your Online Practitioner listing. This is a great way to advertise that you are a certified IASTM practitioner.
Can I use the FIBROBLASTERTM logo or the terms Fibroblaster?
Only practitioners that have taken IASTM using Fibroblaster TM module, become certified, and maintain their certification may use the names Fibroblaster TM. Certified IASTM Practitioner may use the Fibroblaster TM logo in approved settings with prior approval from Fibroblaster TM, LLC. Please contact info@KOHed.com for Fibroblaster TM Logo inquiries.
