Fascial Manipulation® also known as The Stecco Technique, is a manual therapy technique developed by Luigi Stecco. This course involves the comprehensive study of the anatomy and physiology of the fascial system, its evaluation and treatment. Participants will learn to evaluate musculoskeletal dysfunctions with specific reference to the human fascial system, and to apply the Fascial Manipulation methodology.

High Velocity Spinal Technique (HVST) involves the comprehensive study of joint mobilization techniques and its application in multiple treatment protocols. Participants will be given an introduction to HVST that includes a lecture on current evidence-based research on joint mobilizations followed by a discussion on the competing theories regarding its application. Participants will also be given a clinical/lab session where they will learn proper patient preparation in various positions. Additionally, participants will be taught the different hand hold options and proper body mechanics of the various mobilization techniques by distinct locations on the body.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and its techniques involve the comprehensive study of different aspects of soft tissue namely fascia and aponeurotic fascia, endomysium, perimysium, epimysium and adipose tissue and the effects of a specific double or single beveled edge surgical grade instruments that can affect those tissues. Participants will be given an introduction to IASTM that includes a lecture about the anatomy and physiology of fascial and connective tissue and how it relates to IASTM. Information regarding the history of and latest research on IASTM will also be discussed. Participants will be given a clinical/lab session where they will learn the proper biomechanics and hand holds of IASTM tools. Additionally, providers will be taught on treatment protocols for 30 different diagnoses.
